Sizing & Fitting
The sizing on Corset Belts is very flexible due to their nature. Each panel is designed to work in a system to conform to the actual structure of your hips--because we understand that women's hips are not flat, or square---they have wonderful shape that should be accentuated! So, to create sizes, we devised a length and a width that would be the most workable.

Sizing for Standard 4 Panels
:
Small size belt panels are approximately 7" long by 4" high. So the minimum, with just the panels alone is 28". Then there's a minimum of 2" for each opening for optimum lacing, which adds another 12". You can open the panels up as far as 3-4", without stressing the look of the belt. So a small fits a hip size 30" up to 40" comfortably.

Medium
belt panels are approximately 8" x 5". I'd recommend this size for 40" to 50" comfortably.

Large belt panels are approximately 9" x 5.5". This size works well for 50" to 60" comfortably.

Sizing for Standard 5 Panels:
5 panels excel in accomodating booty! The three smaller back panels allow for more flexibility and flattering lines. The three panels add up to 1-2" more inches then the 4 panels, plus added lacing.

Custom Sizing
What if you have long hips vertically, but are small in circumference? Or very petite with 52" hips? Then we can alter the pattern to fit your hips exactly! We specialize in customizing to your hips---whether you need a medium height in a small width, or a small height in a large width!

Fitting
To properly fit your Corset Belt, make sure it is laced on three sides, and pull around your hips. I generally like to start with about 4-5" of play up front, and then adjust the lacing in the back until the fit is firm and comfortable. For the first time, it's best to have a friend help you adjust it for the perfect fit.

Wear & Care

Corset Belts are very durable, but should be treated with care to maintain their shape and quality. They are entirely hand-made, and each is unique!

Store your belt folded onto its panels, accordian style, and lay tassels flat.

When you're getting ready to wear it, gently brush the synthetic hair while holding the tassel firmly at its neck. If the hair gets folded wrong, or fly-away, a quick, low temperature run with a blow-dryer will settle it back down.

The lacing and grommet system is the heart of the belt and must be treated with respect. Don't pull too hard on your lacing and grommets, a gentle firm tug is enough.

The Corset Belt is designed in a simple manner so that you can add your own personality to it. Add additional color lacings (1/4" ribbon works well), sew coins or Kuchi, fringe---the possibilities are endless!
