What happens when you combine the elegant beauty of Tempest's Corset
Belts with the fantastic lines of a panel skirt? The Skorset!
And how did we come up with a name like this? Waaaay too many hours
in the van on the way to festivals!
The Skorset made it's debut at Tribal Cafe (August 21st, 2004, Montclair,
CA). We have numerous variations of the Skorset in the works, so there
will be more to add shortly...but here we go for starters!

"Bordeaux in Autumn" Skorset
This sweet piece is a size small, 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The burned out watercolor velvet lace skirt panels drop 34" down from the corset belt. The Corset Belt is raw red silk with black interwoven threads for a reflective effect.

"Dark tRuffle" Skorset
This gothy piece is a size medium, 4 panel corset belt with double drop
short skirt panels. The first is twelve rows of gauzy, iridescent edged
ruffles, started on the belt, and falling free over the bottom skirt
panel of heavy black lace. There are 4 tassels in black with sage and
earth accents. he base is an incredible black brocade tapestry with
iridescent streaks throughout.
The
lace ruffle skirt panels fall 10" from the base and the lace panels
fall 22". A very sensuous design!

"Maura's Secret" Skorset
This fabulous piece is a size small, 4 panel corset belt with double drop
long skirt panels. The base two-tone Thai Silk in lavendar. The top drop
panels are a 1940's vintage inspired lilac, overlayed on black/silver/purple
skull motif gauze -all dropping approximately 27" from base.

"Glitter Gutter" Skorset
This piece is a size medium, 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The skirt panels drop 26" down from the corset belt. They are made of a durable synthetic stretch material that is two-layered with hole designs for a fantastic gothic urchin look.
This piece is doubled laced in red and black.

"Obsisian" Skorset
This piece is a size small, 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The base is made of Chinese Satin black on black with oriental dragons. The black lace skirt panels drop 24"down from the corset belt. Tassel bases are black with fuscia/teal/purple/wine accenting for a rich subtle affect.

"Metalliqueen"
Skorset
This piece is a size medium with double drop gauz and fishnet panels for
4 tassels. The base is a fabulous snakeskin with liquidy stamped sequins
(the flexible kind, not the flakey harsh ones). The top panel is black
and silver fishnet, over a smaller silver fishnet gauze, falling for a
total length of 18". Tassels are black and silver.
