And how did we come up with a name like this? Waaaay too many hours
in the van on the way to festivals!
The Skorset made it's debut at Tribal Cafe (August 21st, 2004, Montclair,
CA). We have numerous variations of the Skorset in the works, so there
will be more to add shortly...but here we go for starters!

"Bordeaux" Skorset
This sweet piece is a size small, 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The heavy lace skirt panels drop 29" down from the corset belt. This design features a delicate black ruffle on each panel. The Corset Belt is raw red silk with black interwoven threads for a reflective effect.

"Dark tRuffle" Skorset
This gothy piece is a size medium, 4 panel corset belt with double drop
short skirt panels. The first is four rows of gauzy, iridescent edged
ruffles, started on the belt, and falling free over the bottom skirt
panel of heavy black lace. There are 4 tassels, which fall from pleather
strapping, accented by studs. The base is an incredible black brocade
tapestry with iridescent streaks throughout.
The
lace skirt panels fall 14" from the base and the ruffles fall 3".
A very sensuous design!

"Drakkar Lady" Skorset
This fabulous piece is a size medium, 4 panel corset belt with double
drop long skirt panels. The
top skirt panel is a gauzy dragon print design which overlays and falls
past the 30" bottom heavy black panels. In the full shot, I have
the dragon panels loosely knotted--which works threefold: it mimics the
tassels, it shortens the panels, and it adds weight to the bottom which
helps it flow better when spinning.
Tassels are oriental-wrapped, with an antique coin on each tassel. The
corset belt is made of Japanese cotton with a navy scale pattern that
matches the scales of the dragon in the gauze skirt.

"Glitter Gutter" Skorset
This piece is a size small, 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The skirt panels drop 29" down from the corset belt. They are made of a durable synthetic stretch material that is two-layered with hole designs for a fantastic gothic urchin look.
This piece is doubled laced in red and black.

"Calliope" Skorset
This piece is a size medium , 4-4-4 style (4 paneled corset belt, 4 tassel accents, and 4 drop skirt panels). The skirt panels drop 33.5"down from the corset belt. They are made from a mesh knit fabric that is a mixture of gorgeous shades, picked up in the base of the belt, and great for a variety of costume color combinations
