| The Baladi Series is an on-going mixed media series based on the beauty and spirit of Middle Eastern Dance. These pieces are roughly 5"x7" each, and are made with sepia washes, watercolor, colored pencil, gilding, and other materials, creating a multi-layer effect. Rather being inspired by a particular dancer, these works originate from the passion and emotion of the dance itself. | |
